Superficially this looks like a pretty antisocial group of kids, but in truth they are interacting before your eyes. They are using the wireless capabilities of their DSs to create a picture using a program called Pictochat. Through technology they were all working on the same image at the same time. I don't understand why, but they were. I never saw it, but Michael used the word surreal to describe it. Apparently their picture reminded him of something he did in art, but this time they are doing it together in a cooperative manner.

Here are the postcards that were sent to Michael and Alex's grandparents and greatgrandparents via Cardstore.com. I think of them as a mixture of public relations and propaganda. Read enough of their lives, and you can consider yourself a virtual grandparent/aunt/uncle. There are worse things.
