Jenny lacks an appreciation for garland on a Christmas tree; it is as if she were color blind to it's sparkling majesty. As soon as we put up our tree, Bruce and Grayson grabbed the garland and pulled it off the tree. Jenny immediately proclaimed the kittens to be the scions of good taste.
About a month later we took down the Christmas tree and packed everything away. Mysteriously the garland kept getting out of it's box in the basement and made its way to the living room. Fear not, it was not gremlins, but instead the scions of good taste who cannot live without having the lovely Christmas garland with them. Yes, the kittens love the garland, and that is why they took it off the tree.
