Here is a reminder of our lovely afternoon at Garfield park with your mother. I think that she enjoyed her time in the sun with us.
It is easy to dismiss efforts to make Cicely happy on the basis that her memories may not stay with her long. Despite that, I think it is worthy endeavor because the joy it brings carries forward with her; she may be unaware that she was happy a moment ago, but there is a residual happiness that stays with her and helps make her life better.
